Introduction
The LiveDDM Sandbox provides cloud based data access for LiveDDM so that Users can train or test workflow scenarios without the need for an on-premises Server.
This article will guide you through the steps required to access the LiveDDM Sandbox.
Steps
New Install - Enter Sandbox Mode
- Download and install LiveDDM v6.0.1088 or higher
- Launch LiveDDM by using the desktop shortcut named LiveDDM
- If this is the first time that you are running LiveDDM, you will be prompted with the following window:
- Select Sandbox Mode
- Select OK
- LiveDDM will close. Restart LiveDDM manually using the LiveDDM desktop shortcut.
- You are now connected to the LiveDDM Sandbox
Existing Install - Enter Sandbox Mode
These instruction assume that you have already connected LiveDDM to an existing database in your office.
- Download and install LiveDDM v6.0.1088 or higher
- Launch LiveDDM
- Sign In
- Navigate to User -> Terminal Settings -> Database Settings
- Under Sandbox Mode, select Use Sandbox
- Click OK
- LiveDDM will close. Restart LiveDDM manually using the LiveDDM desktop shortcut.
- You are now connected to the LiveDDM Sandbox
Exit Sandbox Mode
- Exit and run LiveDDM
- If in Sandbox Mode, you will receive the following prompt:
- Select No to exit Sandbox Mode
Signing In
The LiveDDM Sandbox provides a built in user that can be used to sign in. To sign in please use the following credentials:
User Name: training
Password: training
Note that user name and password are case sensitive.
