- Ensure both LiveDDM and VixWin are installed on the PC. Note that ViWin may need to be set to 'bridge mode' by VixWin support
- In LiveDDM, go to user-->terminal settings-->imaging tab
- In the drop down, pick Vixwin for the imaging bridge
- Click on browse and find the EXE on the workstation, usually found here: c:\vixwin\vixwin.exe & click save
- You can test the bridge by right-clicking on any appointment a select 'Launch VixWin' or by opening the patient window, selecting the patient and then clicking the icon on the tool bar that looks like an x-ray. VixWin should launch with the correct patient you selected in LiveDDM
Note: If you cannot find the .EXE to bridge to:
- Please contact the client and/or the imaging company contact so they can indicate the location for you.
- You may also find the EXE location by right clicking on the shortcut on the desktop for the imaging software and going to properties to see where is installed
- Lastly, LiveDDM often stores a .REG file that has bridge information on the server that you can use to merge on workstations, filling in the values automatically: \\ServerName\The Doctor Company\LiveDDM.reg
