- Ensure both LiveDDM and Schick CDR Dicom are installed on the PC
- In LiveDDM, go to user-->terminal settings-->imaging tab
- In the drop down, pick Schick CDR Dicom for the imaging bridge (there are three versions in the list, version 2.6, 3.0 and at the bottom of the list, 4.5--only use 4.5 as the previous two are legacy)
- Click on browse and find the EXE on the workstation, usually found here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Sirona Dental\CDR DICOM for Windows\CDRDicom.exe & click save
- You can test the bridge by right-clicking on any appointment a select 'Launch Patterson Imaging' or by opening the patient window, selecting the patient and then clicking the icon on the tool bar that looks like an x-ray. Patterson Imaging should launch with the correct patient you selected in LiveDDM
Note: If you cannot find the .EXE to bridge to:
- Please contact the client and/or the imaging company contact so they can indicate the location for you.
- You may also find the EXE location by right clicking on the shortcut on the desktop for the imaging software and going to properties to see where is installed
- Lastly, LiveDDM often stores a .REG file that has bridge information on the server that you can use to merge on workstations, filling in the values automatically: \\ServerName\The Doctor Company\LiveDDM.reg
