1. Ensure both LiveDDM and CADI are installed on PC
  2. In LiveDDM, go to user-->terminal settings-->imaging tab
  3. In the drop down, pick CADI for the imaging bridge
  4. Click on browse -- LiveDDM will prompt you first for an images path, use the browse dialog to find the share on the server (usually \\ServerName\cadi\patients\)
  5. Now click on browse again to browse to the CADI.exe, usually located here: c:\CADI\CADI.exe
  6. Final step, tweak a registry setting for LiveDDM:  start-->regedit.exe and navigate to: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\liveDDM\Settings and open the ImagingDataPath key which should be \\ServerName\TWImages and add a backslash to the end so it reads \\ServerName\TWImages\ otherwise LiveDDM will not be able to find the images path.
  7. You can test the bridge by right-clicking on any appointment a select 'Launch CADI' or by opening the patient window, selecting the patient and then clicking the icon on the tool bar that looks like an x-ray. It should bring you to the correct patient in the imaging software.

Note: If you cannot find the .EXE to bridge to:

  • Please contact the client and/or the imaging company contact so they can indicate the location for you.
  • You may also find the EXE location by right clicking on the shortcut on the desktop for the imaging software and going to properties to see where is installed
  • Lastly, LiveDDM often stores a .REG file that has bridge information on the server that you can use to merge on workstations, filling in the values automatically:  \\ServerName\The Doctor Company\LiveDDM.reg
